Doug is one of the founders of Visual Lizard Inc and is always striving to keep the wheels of production turning. Around the office he is the jack of all trades acting as a project manager, accountant, audio/video specialists, web developer and sales force. Once he was heard swearing that he would never use a cell phone but in reality there is one stapled to his hip wherever he goes now.
Creativity, originality and artistic freedom led Doug down a different path than the one his Bachelor of Applied Economics dictated. He was always involved with the arts scene and his passion for music is evident from the time he started playing guitar in bands and performing on stage. Working as a DJ in university, he was a staple on the nightlife scene in the city and has carried this talent over into other projects. He is still playing out in clubs, promoting shows and creating his own electronic music.
The travel bug has bitten pretty hard and Doug is determined to seek out exotic locations to spread the word about proper coding and web standards on the Internet. (At least that’s what he tells the people he works with.)
Recently a new lady has entered his life. A 5 year old Siberian Husky that he rescued from the human society named Sydney. She can be found at the office a couple days a week working in the collections department and chasing the other people around and begging them for tummy rubs.
I have a beautiful husky that I love taking to one of the few off leash parks in the city. There is currently construction going on at the park and most of the dog owners that I have talked to don't really know what is going on in regards to this issue.
I have contacted the City Councilor for the area Gord Steves with regards to this matter and he has sent me the plans for the park which doesn't look as bad as I first thought..

Hopefully this construction phase will lead to a better facility for all and that we can all co-exist together.
