Dwayne Kristjanson is a web developer who has been with Visual Lizard for a year now.
He most recently worked in Ottawa with a company called Real Decoy but is more than happy to be back working in his home province.
Born in Winnipegosis, a town of about 700 people four hours north of Winnipeg, Dwayne conducts a lot of the back-end magic for Visual Lizard’s projects, writing code and manipulating data that essentially allows websites to do what they do.
Dwayne has an extensive educational background, as he holds Bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. Dwayne taught web development and networking at Assiniboine Community College in Dauphin for a year and worked for several manufacturing firms before becoming a web developer.
Because he describes himself as a luddite, Dwayne almost exclusively uses his unibody Macbook Pro at work and rarely uses his noisy desktop machine.
