iWork and iLife apps are now free for old and new Mac and iOS users
In 2013, Apple made iWork and iLife apps free for new Mac and iOS customers, but that meant you had to purchase a new Apple device before you could download any of those apps at no cost. Until now, users with hardware released before 2013 still had to pay for iWork and iLife if they hadn't made a new Apple purchase recently.

At Facebook’s annual developer conference in Northern California, Brian Cabral and team unveiled blueprints for two new cameras designed to capture spherical video with extreme fidelity. Facebook’s immediate aim is to provide professional filmmakers with the tools needed to shoot monoscopic 360-degree video for smartphones, laptops, and PCs as well as the stereoscopic 3-D video that gets shuttled into VR headsets like the Samsung Gear.
