Schools Kill Creativity
Sir Ken Robinson makes some amazing points. Watch it. I'm also not ashamed to say that I hated school the older I got. I wanted to do things with computers, with art, with sport, that had no value in the school system and I gave up by the end of junior high. Of course I finished school and did a bit of university, because you are supposed to right? That is the system. Luckily enough for me, I was able to find computers, art and creativity in programming. How lucky did I get? Very.
My job now is to make sure my daughters never loose their creative spirits.
