Raising the Profile of Manitoba Aboriginal Artists

The Aboriginal Music Program is a program in partnership with Manitoba Music. They work to raise the profile of Manitoba Aboriginal artists on a local, regional and national level. We're happy to have been working with them since 2004 with our friends at Guppy Graphic Design.

Showcasing Opportunities

The Aboriginal Music homepage does a great job in showcasing aboriginal artists, industry service providers, and development organizations. With fresh industry news and a rotating banner to spotlight oppurtunies, site visitors can easily connect with local musicians.

Calendar of Events

Manitoba Music encourages its members to enter in their events, workshops, appearances, and live music gigs. By plugging into that information, Aboriginal Music can provide a music calendar that focuses exclusively on local Aboriginal music talent. SIte visitors can see what is happening today. By using the provided tools visitors can also search for any upcoming show in the near future.

Your Best Foot Forward

Manitoba Music members can fill in a robust public profile that can be shared on Aboriginal Music. Artists and bands can feature photos, audio samples, and online videos. They can link in their Twitter and Facebook feeds to keep in touch with their fans. And with the list of upcoming gigs, getting together for that evening of live music is only a matter of time!

Whether it's sample tracks or music videos, Aboriginal Music gives its members all the opportunities they need to help promote themselves. Listing latest album releases, featuring online videos, posting photo galleries, or status updates through Twitter and Facebook, Aboriginal Music brings local music online.
