More than just real estate

As one of the largest real estate boards in Canada, WinnipegREALTORS® provides members with essential resources to enhance professionalism, advance the industry’s development and enrich the communities they serve.

But that message was getting a bit lost.

The board's content was originally rolled up into the same website as the property search tools, meaning it suffered due to low priority and low visibility. We worked with the WinnipegREALTORS® to identify target audiences and draft focused information architectures.

Breaking out the board material into its own space gave it the focus it needed and improved its overall search engine performance.

A team of talented individuals

The new website needed a way to manage staff profiles, including the board of directors and the leadership team. They needed a tool extensible enough for multiple types groups, and flexible enough to handle various amounts of contact information.

We customized a tool that allowed for as much or as little content as could be provided, and coded the layout in a grid format that accommodates the information. It keeps the presentation clean on the front end, and the management simple on the back end.

Built on using Staff Profiles plugins.

How much home can you afford?

It's one of the most important questions a home buyer should be considering. And we wanted to make it as simple as possible to answer that question!

This javascript-built tool is a ground-up re-build of a tool that WinnipegREALTORS® already had on their previous website. The calculations for this mortgage calculator are derived using a closed, fixed interest rate. The logic is built based on the rate factor description researched at York University by A Marshal, as well as reviewing other publicly accessible mortgage calculators.

We worked with our design partners to present the form and the graphs in as clean a manner as possible. Now it's quicker to fill in, easier to understand, and more accessible across browsers and devices.
